MY PERSONAL STORY

I enjoy studying natural medicine, including its history. Before pursuing a field in nutrition, I attended a chiropractic program for a trimester but felt more drawn to Naturopathy. Interestingly, I was simultaneously accepted into the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program in Oregon and the Doctor of Clinical Nutrition program in Maryland. It was a very hard decision because of my love for both fields. I have seen many people suffer under conventional care. This in part gave me the drive to investigate different natural healing arts and change my own lifestyle.

In my leisure time, I enjoy being out in nature, taking herb walks, and watching sunsets. I also enjoy playing the guitar and writing music when time allows. Finally, it is a real pleasure to explore various foods/recipes from different cultures. Many celebrations, holidays, and happy experiences revolve around food. And so do health and wellness!
