Take A Walk Through With Us

Did you know that Texas has 56 IFM certified practitioners?
Carpathia is home to 6 IFM certified practitioners with 3 more in progress. That means Carpathia Collaborative has the largest number of IFM certified practitioners in the US outside of the Cleveland Clinic!

Why Carpathia Collaborative?

Too often, people think of “wellness” in temporary terms, something hurts and it needs a fast repair. They want to work with doctors who many time offer short-term steps to improve their life, in the form of medications that simply deal with symptoms, that may help temporary without looking at the actual causes of the illness.

After years of seeing this happen with their clients, Drs. Christensen and Iratcabal wanted to open a clinic that not only helped clients improve their immediately ailments but also the deeper issues impairing overall wellness. They now provide sustainable tools to continue their progress “infinitely,” or long after they have left the clinic for good.

Toxic Mold Summit

What Makes Us Different Than Other Health Clinics?

We are a multidisciplinary collaborative of practitioners, focusing on 360 degree approach to health, covering every aspect of holistic wellness. Our center teaches clients how to harness the benefits of integrating multiple modalities and tools to upgrade their lifestyle including better nutrition, cleaner diet, more movement, establishing a meditation practice, and even improving psychosocial behaviors.

Our Unique Approach Looks at Root Cause

Our collaborative team uses an integrative, functional whole systems approach to look at root causes of symptoms rather than just treating symptoms with prescriptions. Not only do we help clients create the right environment so their bodies can heal naturally, we also get answers by looking at the client as an individual, using specialty testing to then create an highly tailored plan that takes bio-individuality (your unique make-up) in to account, along with poor diet, toxic environment, and other factors like stress that come together to create disease.

The Philosophy of Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine is a more evolved style of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the individual, by shifting the focus from classifying the disease to focusing more on client as an individual. Functional Medicine also addresses the “whole” person including current lifestyle factors, the health of their gut and brain, how their diet impacts their current state of health and not just an isolated set of symptoms they are experiencing.

Meet Our Team

An integral part of Carpathia Collaborative’s approach is a collaborative relationship between our practitioners and our clients. Our doctors serve as your guide, helping our Clients create long-lasting health.
