Tara is a certified holistic health and wellness coach who is passionate about guiding individuals on their journey toward lasting health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in English and psychology from East Texas A&M University and spent 20 years teaching high school English before following a new calling in health and wellness.
Her own health journey plays a big part in why she loves this work. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, Tara struggled despite taking medication offered by her traditional medical doctor. It wasn’t until she discovered functional medicine—focusing on nutrition, lifestyle, and root-cause healing—that she truly began to feel better. That personal transformation inspired her to help others experience the same kind of change. In 2017, she became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through the Health Coach Institute and went on to earn her Master Health Coach Certification in 2019.
As a health coach, Tara bridges the gap between practitioner recommendations and everyday life. Whether it’s navigating a new diet, creating a supplement routine, beginning a detox, or making sustainable lifestyle changes, she helps patients break things down into practical steps that feel manageable. Her goal is to bring clarity, encouragement, and confidence to each person’s health journey.
Outside of the clinic, Tara is married to Dr. Brock. Together, they love traveling, staying active, and spending time with their four grown children. She is committed to living by example, fostering health and wellness not only in her patients’ lives but in her own family as well.
