Daniel Chege is a Board-Certified Family Nurse practitioner. His desire is to use all the resources he has to help patients attain and maintain optimal health. He is very passionate about the treatment of metabolic conditions and educating patients to self-govern their health and wellness. He is also very open to learn from his patients believing that everyone has value to share.

Daniel is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Starting his career in computer and mechanical engineering, he was pulled into healthcare through the desire to find lasting health solutions to problems which he witnessed. He moved from Kenya to the USA in 2008 and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Mountain State University in West Virginia. After graduating, he worked in the surgical ICU for one year gaining valuable experience in critical care. It didn’t take long before realizing his desire to expand his knowledge and continue his education. In 2013, he attended Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio to pursue a Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus to become a Family Nurse Practitioner followed by obtaining his certification through the ANCC. He worked for UPMC Pinnacle in an urgent care setting followed by family practice for 2 years. During his time there, he ventured into learning more about integrative approaches to medicine which he found to be very effective in treating his patients. He has continued to focus on integrative family medicine for the last 3 years. In that time, he has been trained and has gained experience in nutritional IV therapy and joint injections. His joy is to give his patients a listening ear and show them that they are being heard.
